Berlin, CT (January 19, 2022) – One person was transported to the hospital after a three-car crash occurred in Berlin on Tuesday, January 18.
Firefighters said the crash happened on the Berlin Turnpike, close to the intersection at Woodlawn Road, around 10:45 a.m. The southbound lanes of the Berlin Turnpike were closed while first responders were on scene.
The three vehicles involved all had to be towed from the scene, and at least one victim was taken to an area hospital following the collision.
The scene was cleared around noon, though the investigation remains active at this time.
