Bristol, CT (February 14, 2022) – A three-car crash happened on Route 6 in Bristol on Friday, sending one person to the hospital and resulting in major traffic backups.
The accident was reported around 11:15 a.m. on Farmington Avenue, close to the area of Oakland Street, police said. Two vehicles and an oil truck were involved in the wreck, according to police.
One of the drivers was transported to Bristol Hospital for injuries that were considered serious but not life-threatening. Medics evaluated the other motorists and passengers for minor injuries at the scene.
The area around the crash was closed Friday while first responders were on the scene. The investigation is ongoing, however, and further details have not been provided.
