Hampton, CT (April 4, 2022) – A stretch of U.S. Highway 6 was closed on Monday, April 4, after a crash happened in Hampton, according to authorities.
Around 2:00 p.m., rescue units closed down several lanes of eastbound Highway 6 after the two-car accident. Per officers on the scene, one adult victim sustained injuries that were serious but not life-threatening. Paramedics took them to an area medical center for treatment, police added.
It’s unclear if any other victims suffered injuries, though police say their investigation remains active and further details will be provided in the coming days.
