Hartford, CT (January 28, 2022) – Connecticut State Police are investigating a truck accident that happened in West Hartford resulted in injuries on Friday morning, January 28.
The incident caused major backups on Interstate 84 around 10:30 a.m. Officers responded to the westbound lanes of the highway, close to Exit 42 and Trout Brook Drive.
CSP troopers added that the crash involved a tractor-trailer and passenger car. EMS units appeared to treat at least one person on the scene, though the number of injured victims, as well as their current conditions, remain unclear.
The investigation remains active at this time, however, and further details have not been provided.
