Hartford, CT (March 25, 2022) – One man has died after a late Thursday evening crash that took place in Hartford.
Hartford Police Department officers responded to the area of Sigourney Street and Farmington Avenue just before 10:30 p.m. Upon their arrival at the scene, police discovered two cars had collided in the intersection, a BMW X5 and an Acura.
The driver of the Acura, a 28-year old Hartford man, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Two other people, the driver and the passenger of the BMW, were rushed to an area medical center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
There’s been no word yet on the cause of the collision, but the HPD asked anyone who might have information or who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
