Hartford, CT (March 17, 2022) – At least one person sustained injuries on Thursday, March 17, after a semi-truck accident took place on Interstate 84.
According to police reports, the incident happened around 1:30 p.m. on the eastbound side of I-84 at Exit 49 to High Street. The events leading up to the collision are still unknown, but police say that a large commercial truck collided with a passenger vehicle in the right lanes.
Emergency personnel transported at least one victim to the hospital for injuries. It’s unclear if any other person involved reported injuries.
State police noted that charges could arise from the incident, though their investigation is ongoing. Officers plan to release further details in the coming days.
