Westport, CT (February 17, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries after a car accident on Interstate 95 that happened Thursday evening, February 17.
Fire rescue units and Westport Police Department officers said they responded to northbound I-95 at the Sherwood Island Connector, Exit 18, around 5:30 p.m. Both drivers were treated for their injuries or transported to a nearby hospital, rescue units said.
The investigation remains active at this time, and further details have not been provided. It’s unclear if citations or charges are pending.
