Middletown, CT (February 18, 2022) – Five people were hospitalized following a crash that happened in Middletown on Thursday evening, February 17.
The multi-car accident reportedly occurred on Round Hill Road in the area of Dooley Pond. Officers with the Middletown Police Department say that one car went off the road as a result of the incident.
All occupants of each vehicle involved had to be extricated, and two patients were taken to Hartford Hospital. One other victim was transported to St. Francis Hospital, and the two remaining victims were brought to Middlesex Hospital. The conditions of the patients have not been made public, however.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision is ongoing.
