New Britain, CT (February 2, 2022) – At least two people were injured after a two-vehicle accident happened on Wednesday, February 2.
The vehicles collided, causing a chain-reaction crash on southbound Route 9 around 5:30 p.m.
According to local police, fire crews worked the scene while medics evaluated the victims and transported any with serious injuries to an area medical center.
The crash is under investigation, though officers asked anyone who witnessed the wreck to contact the New Britain Township Police Department. Police are still working to piece together the events causing the incident.
