New Britain, CT (January 16, 2022) – At least two people who were hospitalized after a two-vehicle accident happened on Sunday afternoon, January 16.
The vehicles collided, causing a chain-reaction crash on westbound Interstate 84 around 4:30 p.m.
According to local police, fire crews worked the scene near Exit 35 to Route 72. After rescuing the victims, EMTs took both drivers to area hospitals for evaluation and treatment.
The crash is under investigation, though officers asked anyone who witnessed the wreck to contact the New Britain Township Police Department. Police are still working to piece together the events causing the incident.
