New Britain, CT (February 26, 2022) – At least two people suffered injuries after a two-vehicle accident happened on Saturday evening, February 26.
The vehicles collided, causing a chain-reaction crash on westbound Route 72, around 7:30 p.m. According to local police, fire crews worked the scene near Exit 7 to Corbin Avenue for at least an hour. After rescuing the victims, EMTs took both drivers to area hospitals for evaluation and treatment.
The crash is under investigation, though officers asked anyone who witnessed the wreck to contact the New Britain Township Police Department. Police are still working to piece together the events causing the incident.
