North Haven, CT (March 7, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries in a multi-car accident that happened on Interstate 91 in North Haven on Monday morning, March 7.
Rescue units responded around 7:00 a.m., and officers with the North Haven Police Department say the highway was closed down to traffic in the southbound lanes before Exit 12 to U.S. Highway 5.
All injured victims were transported to area medical centers via ambulance. It’s unclear how many people were injured or the extent of those injuries, however.
NHPD officers plan to release more information about the accident and the events leading up to the collision in the coming days. The investigation remains active at this time.
