East Windsor, CT (March 6, 2022) – A 14-year-old girl has been hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a car in East Windsor on Sunday afternoon, March 6.
Officers said the teen was hit on North Road, also known as Route 140, near the intersection with Mullen Road. She was transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance in critical condition after going into cardiac arrest. Medics had to administer life-saving measures at the scene, and authorities say the teen remains hospitalized and on life support.
Police took one person into custody and are working with the Chief State’s Attorney’s Office to determine charges.
The crash is still being investigated by the town’s Metro Traffic Services Division at this time, and further information surrounding the events leading up to the collision has not been provided.
