Plainville, CT (January 19, 2022) – A serious car accident injured at least two people on Wednesday evening, January 19, in the Plainville area, per reports from police.
Police said the incident happened around 11:00 p.m. on Interstate 84 at Route 72. When first responders arrived at the scene, they discovered two vehicles had collided. EMS transported two victims to an area medical center via ambulance. Medical authorities said at least two victims suffered serious injuries but did not deliver updates on their current conditions.
This wreck remains under investigation by the Plainville Police Department Traffic Unit. Police asked anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has additional information to contact the PPD.
