Plainville, CT (February 3, 2022) – Connecticut State Police are investigating a truck accident that left multiple victims injured on Thursday, February 3.
The accident caused major backups on Route 72 around 5:30 p.m. Officers responded to the westbound lanes of the highway in the Plainville area, close to Exit 1 and Route 177.
Connecticut State Police added that the crash involved a tractor-trailer and car, with injuries reported. EMS units appeared to transport at least one person to an area medical center. The investigation remains active at this time, however, and further details have not been provided.
