Southington, CT (February 23, 2022) – A multi-vehicle accident occurred in Southington on Wednesday afternoon, February 23, leaving at least one person with injuries.
Officers with the Southington Police Department and Connecticut Department of Transportation officials, along with fire crews, said the incident happened around 2:30 p.m. Initial reports indicate that the wreck involved multiple vehicles and happened on westbound Interstate 84, close to Exit 32 and Route 10.
Paramedics also responded to evaluate injured victims. It’s unclear how many victims suffered injuries in the collision, however.
The crash remains under investigation by the SPD. Police asked anyone with information to contact them directly.
