Norwalk, CT (March 24, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries on Thursday, March 24, after a tractor-trailer accident occurred on Interstate 95.
According to police reports, the incident happened around 4:45 p.m. on the northbound side of I-95 at Fairfield Avenue. The events leading up to the collision are still unknown, but police say a semi-truck collided with a passenger vehicle.
Emergency personnel transported at least one victim to the hospital for injuries. It’s unclear if any other person involved reported injuries.
State police noted that charges could arise from the incident, though their investigation is ongoing. Officers plan to release further details in the coming days.
