West Haven, CT (April 6, 2022) – A woman died in a fire that broke out in West Haven on Wednesday afternoon, April 6, according to officials.
West Haven Police Department officers, as well as local fire crews, were dispatched around 2:15 p.m. to a house fire on Cynthia Circle, close to Putney Drive and Meloy Road. Upon arrival, crews were able to knock down the blaze but found one person dead.
There is no word yet on what caused the fire, though WHPD officers say their investigation is ongoing.
