Bristol, CT (January 20, 2022) – Police say a woman was hit and killed by a vehicle at a Connecticut intersection on Wednesday evening, January 19.
The crash took place about 7:45 p.m. at Jerome Avenue and Fox Den Road in Bristol. According to Lt. Geoffrey Lund with the Bristol Police Department, the woman, who was in her mid-30s, was rushed to an area hospital but was later pronounced dead.
The Serious Traffic Reconstruction Team with the BPD was called to the scene and continues to investigate at this time, Lund said. He added that the department is currently seeking witnesses.
The investigation remains active at this time, and police have not released further details.
