Motorcycle Accidents in Connecticut
Connecticut officials have stated that the number of people killed on in-state roadways in 2020 was at its apex since 2016. And per the Transportation Safety Research Center, speed is the leading cause of most of these fatal collisions.
In fact, police reported more than 80,000 traffic accidents, an overwhelming majority caused by drivers breaking traffic laws. Authorities cited reckless driving, speeding, and drunk driving as top contributors to serious collisions.
Almost all of these Connecticut car accidents were preventable. However, accident totals continue to surge year over year. And unfortunately, the victims of these incidents must endure tragic circumstances as a result.
