New Britain, CT (December 12, 2021) – A car accident injured at least two people on Sunday afternoon, December 12, in the New Britain area, per reports from police.
Police said the incident happened around 2:00 p.m. on Route 72 at exit 8 to Columbus Boulevard. When first responders arrived at the scene, they discovered two vehicles had collided. EMS transported two victims to an area medical center via ambulance. Medical authorities said at least two victims suffered serious injuries but did not deliver updates on their current conditions.
This wreck remains under investigation by the New Britain Police Department Traffic Unit. Police asked anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has additional information to contact them.
The investigation is ongoing, and officers did not provide further details.
