The metacarpal bones form the intermediate part of the hand and extend from the carpals to the knuckles.

  • Radius and Ulna

The radius and ulna are long bones that make up the forearm and connect with the carpals. The radius is a common location for wrist fractures, as it runs along the medial side of the arm.

All of these bones are surrounded by muscles and ligaments to provide support and function to the wrist and hand.
