Southington, CT (October 02, 2021) – A man died when he was involved in a motorcycle accident on Friday, October 1st in Southington.
Police were dispatched to Queen Street at about 10:00 p.m. for a report of a collision between a motorcycle and a car.
According to investigators, a 20-year-old male was riding a 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle northbound on Queen Street when, for reasons still under investigation, the motorcycle and an oncoming 2002 Toyota Camry collided in the northbound lane.
The motorcyclist sustained serious physical injuries. He was transported to a local hospital where he eventually died due to the severity of his injuries.
The occupants of the car were unharmed and remained on the scene following the crash.
This accident is under investigation.
