Wallingford, CT (February 21, 2022) – A car accident took place in the Wallingford area on Monday, February 21, leaving at least one victim with serious injuries.
Officers with the Connecticut Department of Transportation and first responders reported to the scene at about 4:00 p.m. Preliminary reports stated that the accident involved at least two vehicles and occurred on southbound Route 15 at Exit 64 to Quinnipiac Street.
Paramedics transported at least one person to a local hospital and provided additional emergency treatment or transportation to those who needed it at the scene. Firefighters also extricated one person from the accident and reported that the victim was unresponsive.
The accident is under investigation.
