Hartford, CT (April 8, 2022) – A multi-vehicle accident occurred in Hartford on Friday evening, April 8, leaving at least one person with injuries.
Officers with the Hartford Police Department and Connecticut Department of Transportation officials, along with fire crews, said the incident happened around 10:00 p.m. Initial reports indicated that the wreck involved multiple vehicles and happened on westbound Interstate 84, just before Exit 48 to Spring Street.
Paramedics took at least one adult to an area hospital by ambulance. The victim reportedly sustained serious injuries, and EMS says they treated one other person on the scene as a precaution.
The crash remains under investigation by the Hartford Police Department, however, and further details have not been provided at this time.
