Hartford, CT (January 15, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries on Saturday, January 15, after a tractor-trailer accident occurred on Route 2.
According to police reports, the incident happened around 6:00 p.m. on the eastbound side of Route 2 at Exit 2 to I-84. The events leading up to the collision are still unknown, but police say a semi-truck collided with a passenger vehicle in the right lanes of the highway.
Emergency personnel transported at least one victim to an area hospital for injuries. It’s unclear if any other person involved reported injuries.
State police noted that charges could arise from the incident, though their investigation is ongoing. Officers plan to release further details in the coming days.
