Windsor, CT (February 27, 2022) – A serious auto accident occurred in Windsor, just outside of Hartford, on Sunday afternoon, February 27, leaving several victims hurt.
Local police say that at least two vehicles collided in the westbound lanes of Interstate 291, just before Exit 3 to Deerfield Road, around 3:30 p.m.
At least one person suffered serious injuries in the incident, and multiple victims were transported to an area medical center, officers added. Their current conditions were not made public.
Officers say their investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing and have not released further details.
