Shelton, CT (January 27, 2022) – At least one person was hospitalized on Thursday evening, January 27, after a truck collision on Route 8.
According to police reports, the incident occurred in the right and center lanes of the highway around 10:00 p.m.
At that time, a tractor-trailer driver collided with at least one other vehicle on northbound Route 8 at Old Stratford Road.
Emergency personnel transported at least one person to a local hospital for injuries. The other victims did not report any serious injuries and were treated at the scene, per reports from medical personnel.
State police noted that citations could arise from the incident, though their investigation is ongoing.
