Hartford, CT (March 30, 2022) – Officers with the Hartford Police Department are investigating a serious crash that took place Tuesday evening, March 29, and left three people injured.
Shortly after 11:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of Barbour Street and Nelson Street for the report of a serious accident involving two motorists. Upon their arrival, officials said the drivers of a Chrysler Pacifica and a Nissan Rogue collided, causing their cars to get stuck on the sidewalk.
The driver of the Rogues suffered serious, life-threatening injuries, and an occupant in the Pacifica had to be extricated and transported to the hospital. A third person sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
The investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing, but HPD officers plan to release further details in the coming days.
