Newington, CT (February 27, 2022) – A fatal crash occurred in Newington on Sunday morning, February 27, around 9:30 a.m., leaving two people dead.
Officers with the Newington Police Department responded to East Cedar Street, Route 175, and the road was closed from Route 5 to Hawley Street. The events leading up to the collision are unknown, but it appears that at least two vehicles were involved. It’s also unclear if any victims suffered injuries in the accident.
