Ridgefield, CT (September 25, 2021) – One person has lost their life following a motor vehicle accident in the Ridgefield area on Saturday morning. Just after 1:40 a.m., on September 25, calls for assistance came in regarding a collision that blocked Danbury Road.
Reports from the Ridgefield Police show that a two-vehicle collision occurred on Danbury Road after one vehicle crossed over the center lines near Route 35 and struck the second vehicle head-on.
The drivers of both vehicles, as well as one passenger, were all extricated from their vehicles and transported to Danbury Hospital. Authorities confirmed that one driver succumbed to their injuries after arriving.
