Seymour, CT (November 9, 2021) – A 31-year-old Shelton man died in a crash that happened Tuesday morning, November 9, in Seymour.
The motorcycle accident happened just before 8:00 a.m. on northbound Route 8 near exit 21, per reports from officers. According to police and rescue units, the motorcyclist, identified only as a 31-year-old man, was traveling northbound when his motorcycle veered for unknown reasons and crashed.
He was taken to the hospital via ambulance by EMS but was pronounced deceased upon arrival.
The investigation remains ongoing at this time, though police are asking any witnesses or anyone who may have been traveling through the area to contact them.
