Waterbury, CT (January 24, 2022) – A 60-year-old man died early Saturday morning, January 22, after being hit by a driver in the Waterbury area.
According to police, the incident occurred near Thomaston Avenue. The victim was rushed to Waterbury Hospital by ambulance but later succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle, a 2010 Toyota Avalon, that was involved in the crash stayed on the scene and cooperated with investigators.
