Car Accidents in Connecticut
Authorities in the state of Connecticut say the number of people who died on the state’s roads in 2020 was the highest since 2016. In fact, police departments statewide reported over 80,000 traffic-related incidents. The majority of these accidents reported were caused by speeding or reckless driving.
According to studies conducted by the Connecticut Transportation Safety Research Center, speed is the top cause of the majority of these deadly accidents. Oftentimes, these car crashes are rollover wrecks, increasing the risk of serious injury to the victims involved.
